Unlike long-distance moves which are priced by weight, local moves are billed at an Hourly Rate. This means our absolute priority is efficiency. Our teams arrive with a clean truck, fully equipped with dozens of thick protective blankets, lifting straps, disassembly tools, floor runners, and specialized stair dollies.

Hiring a local company means choosing dispatchers and drivers who know your neighborhood's parking restrictions, rush hours to avoid, and condo board rules specific to your city's high-rises. If a snag occurs, our garage and backup trucks are never more than a few kilometers away, ensuring no logistical surprises derail the most important day of your year.
How local moving is priced
Local moves are billed by the hour, typically $120–150 per hour for a 2-mover crew, plus a fixed travel-time charge. Three things change the total most: the volume of furniture and boxes, access (stairs, elevators, long walks from the truck) and how ready you are when the crew arrives. Having boxes packed and sealed, beds stripped and a clear path to the door saves real money. We give you a free quote before the move so you know what to expect.

Verified Google ReviewI did a 10 hours move with Mo’s team yesterday, from a storage unit to a 3 story townhouse (ground, main and upper) with a basement. The move was a white glove service, without unpacking. A team of three gentlemen moved our stuff very carefully and took good care of our new home, which is all hardwood that is easy to dent or scratch but it survived thanks to their care. They used blankets and wore booties, and were genuinely caring. The furniture assembly included a few complicated items , and stuff with hardware that went missing in the storage unit. They did all that while maintaining a professional and pleasant attitude. The day was hot reaching 32 degrees, in October, and they tirelessly went up and down the stairs. I also found Mo very easy to deal with, and he makes sure the client’s needs are met and works hard to deliver a very satisfactory moving experience. It’s a hard and thankless job to be honest, because the houses and furniture are both being built with materials that is easy to damage in Canada. Mo and his team are caring and would make you feel that you don’t have to worry about anything!

Yes. We are fully licensed and insured, and we can issue a certificate of insurance naming your condo's property management company, usually within a few hours.
For a local move it is usually not necessary if the dresser is standard-sized and only holds light clothing. Anything fragile, heavy or loose (jewellery, books, papers) must be removed and boxed so it does not damage the furniture.
