Professional Moving Services in Downtown Toronto
Moving downtown is mostly a logistics problem. The furniture is the easy part — the hard part is fitting a truck, a crew and a service elevator into the time slot your building gives you, on streets where stopping is restricted most of the day.
High-rise condos: CityPlace, South Core, Liberty Village and King West
Downtown towers in CityPlace, South Core, Fort York, Liberty Village and King West almost always require a booked service elevator, a certificate of insurance (COI) naming the property management company, padded elevator walls and a fixed loading dock window — often only a few hours long. We send the COI to your management office ahead of time, confirm the booking and choose a truck that fits the dock clearance, so the move starts on time and ends before your slot does.
Older buildings and walk-ups
Victorian and Edwardian houses and walk-up apartments in Corktown, Cabbagetown, the Annex, Kensington and Trinity-Bellwoods come with narrow staircases, tight turns and no elevator. We disassemble large furniture, use stair-safe dollies and protect banisters and door frames. When a sofa or box spring simply will not fit the staircase, we tell you before moving day rather than on the landing.
Parking and timing downtown
Street parking for a moving truck is limited on most downtown streets, and many condos only allow loading at the dock. We plan the arrival time and parking around your building, and we schedule early-morning or weekend moves when that makes the day easier.
Offices in the Financial District
For offices in the Financial District, the Entertainment District and along King and Bay, we coordinate with building security and freight elevators and move after hours or on weekends to keep your team working.

Client Feedback (5/out of 348)
Most do. Property managers usually ask for a certificate of insurance naming the condo corporation or management company. We send it directly to your building before moving day.
It depends on the building, but many downtown condos give a window of a few hours. We size the crew so the move fits inside your booking, and we tell you in advance if your volume needs a longer slot.
Local moves are billed by the hour, typically $120–150 per hour for a 2-mover crew; larger condos often need 3 movers to finish inside the elevator window. You get a free quote before booking.
CityPlace, South Core, Fort York, Liberty Village, King West, the Financial District, the Entertainment District, St. Lawrence, the Distillery District, Corktown, Cabbagetown, Yorkville, the Annex and the waterfront.
We measure the elevator and doorways in advance. Many sofas can be moved by removing legs or using the service elevator's full height; if a piece will not fit, we tell you before moving day.
