Expert Pool Table Moving Services in Toronto & the GTA

Expert Pool Table Moving Solutions
A professional Pool Table is not designed to be moved in one piece. Attempting to lift it by the corners or roll it inevitably breaks the beeswax slate seams and warps the frame, permanently ruining the table's precision. Pool table moving is a surgical disassembly and reassembly process.
M&M Moving's specialists master the mechanics of pool tables (1, 3, or 5-piece slates). The process begins with the delicate removal of the rails and pockets to free the felt. We then separate the heavy slate (which can weigh up to 800 lbs total) from the wooden base. Each rock slab is transported individually on its side to prevent fracturing under its own weight.
Reassembly and Leveling (Seaming & Leveling)
The secret to a successful installation at the new address lies in the leveling. After rebuilding the base cabinet, we place the slate slabs and use precise machinist levels and shims. We then apply pure beeswax or hydraulic compound to melt the seams into a perfectly seamless surface. We can reinstall your current felt or take the opportunity to stretch a new precision Simonis cloth.

Client Feedback (5/out of 348)
No, unless it is an entry-level table without slate. Lifting a slate table by the sides cracks the wax seams between the slates and creates ridges that ruin the roll. The slate must always be separated from the frame to move it.
In most cases, yes. If the felt is in good condition and not glued too heavily (especially near the pockets), we remove the staples carefully so it can be reinstalled at your new home.
